According to Wikipedia (pinch of salt) EDGE is technically 3G anyway, but unofficially 2.75G, and operating speeds upto 236kbit/s, its not really that far off 384kbit/s on 3G. And they didn't even say who finished the text first! Its like a wild west shootout and cutting straight to the closed coffin! OMG. Well that certainly is a video to put on the resume.
