N95’s V21.0.016 Hits NSU

Nokia N95’s new firmware version is available now for download via Nokia Software Updater, The new V21 version contains dramatic changes including: Flash Lite 3 and Widget Support, with lots of bug-fixes.
In order to have the new firmware installed on your N95, you need to download and install Nokia Software Updater on your PC.
The process of updating my N95 is done, but frankly, I’m not 100% happy about the new firmware, for instance, Because till now the N95 doesn’t support User Data Preservation, The Update will “As Always” delete everything on the phone memory, and will ruin most installed applications on your device, The first problem is easily solved by backing up your phone memory, but the second one’s solution is a bit pain in the ass, which to install every app you had again, something that’ll keep me busy during the day!
But still, I got Flash Lite, Viewing videos on my N95 is really amusing, guess I won’t be using emtube no more, but the only problem about video viewing is power usage, My N95’s battery lasted for a record breaking 3-4 hours! so it’s advisable to view videos only when your N95 is plugged into the wall.

Matter of fact, there is a way to change the product code of your N95 so you’ll be able to access this update, but it’s not recommended as this is considered a violation of the warranty.
