N-Gage 2.0 Released : Get Out and Play!

Kirollos Fares | April 4, 2008

In a very modest way of telling people the news they all been waiting for, N-Gage Blog announced the semi-official release of N-Gage, it’ll be officially announced on Monday.

The new N-Gage 2.0 is installable on Nokia N81, N82, N95 and N95 8GB , Other N-Gage compatible devices “Nokia N73, N93 and N93i” is expected to join the N-Gage gaming festival soon.

Download The New N-Gage, by clicking here or pointing your mobile device to http://n-gage.mobi/d .

My first impressions of this new version is no good at all, I was coward enough not to buy any game during the first access period, I tried to buy Brain Challenge which is by the way is addictive, the purchase process was easy, That’s not the bad part, the bad part about this new release is that the application is now very buggy, it crashes very often no, sometimes it refused to shutdown, and a reboot is the only cure.

A Tip for all people who trialled N-Gage during first access, bought some games, and don’t want to screw up saved games and achievemnts, The official N-Gage blog states that all first access saved games will be deleted, but don’t count that as a fact, After I re-installed the new version of N-Gage on my N95 “Which had the old version of N-Gage with some games installed”, All Games were still peresent and I was able to see my scores in System Rush Game, in short words, Don’t delete the actual games, cause your data will not be deleted.

perhaps not uninstalling first access first (as is recommended) is why your N-Gage client crashes frequently.
i am playing N-Gage on N95, played almost all day yesterday and it did not crash once.

The problem is I had it installed, then I installed

The problem is I had it installed, then I installed the new firmware version of the N95, so, I couldn’t access it from the first place!
