I know i am not quiet the first one to blog about this , but the new firmware of the N95-1 is out !
Make sure you install Nokia Software Updater on your PC in order to get the update
New features include :
¤Demand Paging
¤Oldy multimedia menu don’t pop up when turning to landscape mode
¤a new feature that i can’t explore cause it’s not available in my country called Mynokia
¤Search shortcut added to the standby screen + new search app 4.0
¤The ability to choose videos as ringtones
¤Music application updated to the latest edition just like the 8 gig version
¤Ngage preview with Fifa 2007 Demo
¤Snakes and SRE removed , but still you can download them from the Download! application
¤Camera now opens faster, even shoots faster and new features included like vide stablisation
¤New cool organised Menu
That’s all i noticed in the new firmware v20.0.015

The N95 is getting an update real soon in December according Shayesta from Nokia Support Discussions .

Also , Accordig to Gizmoratty from N95 Users Forum , the new Firmware has Demand Paging , Nokia Music Store , the ability to view online flash content like Youtube Videos , a new function to the camera called ViewFinder and Search in the standby screen , but no words about Nokia’s new multimedia menu

It’s been ages since Nokia released the latest firmware update for Nokia N95 , and seriously seriously , the N95 software needs an update !!

What really should be updated :

• Nokia’s new multimedia menu is a must instead of the useless current menu that turns me mad everytime i see it automatically appear after i turn to landscape mode.
• Since the Nokia N95 Has an accelerometer , why not benefit from that and integrate the auto rotation instead of added applications like Rotateme ??
• The most irritating message in the symbian OS “Memory Full ” should be gone by adding Demand Paging , it’s just very annoying to see Memory Full when you’re doing some important stuff on the web.
• There is a bug in Messaging , where contact numbers instead of names appear above old messages transferred from other phones although these contacts are in the contact list “That must go !”.
• That would be weird , but can Nokia convert part of the useless phone memory into RAM a.k.a Ready-Boost.
• Enable zooming in and out after taking photos.
• Enable Turing on/off the red light while shooting videos cause sometimes when you’re facing glass , it messes things up.
• Tweak the new software to be more Energy Friendly.
• Add support for Nokia Music Store.

This is not for Pro Users , i’m writing this article for all you symbian fans out there that’ve been spamming me for skype !!
All you have to do to get Skype for your symbian cell phone is to register and install Fring ,Not only does it allow you to talk via Skype , it supports Windows Live Messenger , Google Talk , ICQ and SIP , it supports a wide range of Nokia cell phones , including some S40 and besides that all it’s a voIP Client , it also works on various brands like Sony Erickson , and on the windows mobile OS
