Other newly announced device along the N85 is the N79, believed to be the upgrade of the not-so-old N78, The N79 supports a 5 Megapixel camera with dual LED Flash which is an upgrade of the 3.2 Megapixel one found in the N78, but other than that, nothing has changed a lot, except the design.

Other specs include GPS chip, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a smallish 2.4” screen with no OLED, the key lock introduced in the N81, a 3.5mm audio output jack, 3.5G HSDPA and though this phone was announced coincidently with the N85, it doesn’t support USB charging through the MicroUSB port “wouldn’t it be great if every Nokia design team get together and try to implement minor changes on each phone like the USB charging, because it’s weird not to see that implemented in the N79”.

In an event in London, Nokia announced the newest member in the Nseries family, the N85, at the first glance, this phone looks similar to the N81 “Typical”, and sports nearly the same specs of the Nseries devices i.e. The 5 Megapixel camera, GPS and WiFi, but with MAJOR changes when It comes to the Screen, Connectivity, USB Charging and Battery usage.

New stuff in this device include tri-band HSDPA (900/1900/2100), Something we’ve all been dying for which is USB Charging through the MicroUSB port and a newly introduced OLED 2.6” Screen that is supposed to bring better colour combinations and improve visibility and at the same time dramatically cut the battery usage of the 1200 mAH battery that has an average stand-by time of a whopping 363 hours, also the device comes with an 8GB MicroSD cart which is kinda nice and prevents the User’s memory hassles. Today in Las Vegas, Nokia announced the much rumored WiMax equipped version of the N810, it features nothing new but a much darkened and sexier finish and an added WiMax functionality, a technology which is said to spread like an epidemic in the next few years.

The have-it-all N810 WiMax features large 4.13 inch touch screen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2GB internal memory, WiMAX 802.16e / 2.5GHz, integrated GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth and a VGA Camera.

Today, Nokia released this press release announcing officially the much rumored Black N82, which adds a touch of elegancy to this camera powerhouse, It’ll ship within weeks and will be on sale for 400€ before taxes and subsidies.

The press release also mentioned some info about the ability of the N82 to upload videos directly to youtube which is currently not available for N82 users “Correct me if I’m wrong”, So could this be a hint

from Nokia that the N82 is expecting a firmware update real soon?!, could be!!

If you’re not familiar with the N82, The N82 is an S60 V3 Device, featuring a whopping 5 Megapixel Camera “Carl Zeiss Lens” with Xenon Flash, It also features WiFi, Built-in GPS Chip, 3.5G Connectivity and an expandable MicroSD Port.

At last, The Nokia N95 8GB NAM “N95-4″ got released in the US, allowing customers to access the web via 3G HSDPA 850/1900MHz Chip “Technically for AT&T network only”.
Unlike the N95-3, There is no significant change in the phone specs other than the 3G Chip, It’s available now for 799$.

Americans, Use your N95-4 wisely, and don’t get mad if this phone doesn’t get any fimrware updates within the first year of release, The N95-3 “Original N95 with major battery ,RAM fixes and US 3G Support” was released on September and during that time, it received one Minor upgrade!!
