Wow ! It’s been one hell of a year for Nokia ! And 08 doesn’t seem to be less tense , Nokia has to design and produce creative phones in order to compete with the iPhone that boomed the EU markets and 100,000s of it were sold upon it’s release , Nokia should start selling multi-touch screen phones a.k.a Nokia’s iPhone that appeared in a short video in one of Nokia’s 07 conferences , still Nokia has to upgrade their phone’s specs a little bit as i explained earlier in this post , WiMax should be added, HSUPA a.k.a 3.75G chip is also needed in this wireless hungry world allowing web surfing with speed reaching 7.6 Mb/s , 2 times faster than HSDPA a.k.a 3.5G with speed of 3.6 Mb/s , and this technology is widely spread , Here in Egypt , we already have a 3.75G network , besides that , an Nseries device equipped with QWERTY keyboard is needed ,
Moving to software , i know Nokia never did this , but can they upgrade the N95 , N82 and N81 software to S60 V3 Feature Pack 2 ?! , i know this won’t happen ! , support for USB 2.0 speed should be added to software , allowing faster access to memory card data from PC , the current internet browser should be completely renovated , it take tons of time for the current browser to process any page , current music application is full of bugs that i am going to talk about it later ,
Moving to Nokia’s internet business , Nokia is expected to launch it’s music store in the US and the EU , N-gage that was scheduled for release on November 07 got delayed to 08 , so they should have pretty good reasons for that and the application should be bugless !!
Anything else you expect from Nokia in the year 2008 ??
